Being a Farmer can be hard on the body

But Thanks to Comfrey, it doesn't have to look and feel that way.

Since about 400 BC Comfrey has been used as a healing herb. "Comfrey" comes from the Latin word "grow together"

Comfrey is used on the skin to treat & promote the healing of wounds, bruises, sprains, bone fractures as well as pulled muscles and ligaments.

Comfrey roots and leaves contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy.

Never apply comfrey to broken skin.
Use only small amounts of creams with comfrey for no longer than 10 days at a time.

Hi,
So excited to find your work, awesome website !
Currently a student at COBHA (College of Botanical Healing Arts) located in Santa Cruz ,CA .I'm doing some distillation, essential oils and herb work . I'm heading over to Maui this week to help my boyfriend with his fractured tailbone. Wondering if you know of a source on Maui for obtaining fresh comfrey (symphytom officianalis) to make poultice.
