Since about 400 BC Comfrey has been used as a healing herb. "Comfrey" comes from the Latin word "grow together"
Comfrey is used on the skin to treat & promote the healing of wounds, bruises, sprains, bone fractures as well as pulled muscles and ligaments.
Comfrey roots and leaves contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy.
